Illustration Career
Eric began his professional career at Studio West, a premier illustration and design studio in Minneapolis. In those days he would create all manner of illustration for corporate clients. The camaraderie of fellow artists helped further his artistic growth. “It is amazing how quickly you learn when surrounded by gifted people,” he notes.
Later, Bjorlin rented a studio space at The Ford Centre in downtown Minneapolis where he was represented by both illustration studios and fine art publishers. After fifteen years in the trenches, refining his abilities under tight deadlines, balancing between art directors and his own paintings, Eric left illustration and fulfilled his dream of focusing on his fine art.
